Oh the Glow!


Sometimes I just lay with Anya enjoying the warm feeling that comes from being close to her. In fact at times, the joy wells up in my belly, simply from knowing she is in my world. It is a silent, surripticious sensation that swells from the depths of my being and sweeps me up in it. Is this the glow of motherhood? It is both in the background of all things (even stress or passing panic) and, at times, a pressing but gentle call to being fully present, in this moment. Sigh…
